Udoka before the 2021-22 season:

Recently he has said we'll likely see the ball in Marcus Smart's hands more this season. "He's kind of asked for that. He'll be a great facilitator as well."

In all seriousness it looks like the ball will be shared much more liberally than last season.

Some other quotes of Udoka's regarding playing style & the roster construction.

"We have two elite scorers (Tatum and Brown). "I want to help them be playmakers. We want to play more team basketball."

"In general, just share the ball a little bit more with guys," Udoka said. "In general, Jaylen and Jayson could take a huge step as far as that."

"We wanted to add some veterans to the mix. Bringing the right veterans in, whether it for leadership, vocal, solidifying our lineup, bench or starters, adding the right mix ... a veteran mix to compliment our young guys."
