I for one don't miss him. His ill advised threes. He was hard nosed and tough though. Glad to see him doing well, I am rooting for Phoenix but I for one don't miss him as he is undersized at the four, a tad slow at the three.
I think he would be an amazing piece of the puzzle here in Boston if he shot the three like he did this year or his last year here in Boston. You know, around 39%.
Every other year of his career he has shot that three around 33% which is Marcus Smart bad at shooting threes.
So, TP, I agree C4E. I don't want his decision making on when to shoot from deep on this team. But his defensive abilities, physicality, toughness and winning attitude would be nice to have.
Maybe Aaron Nesmith becomes that tough, gritty, defensive piece but also be a +40% three point shooter. That's the role I can see Crash taking on for a couple years until he becomes so good he has to be a starter or 6th man scorer. And that's because I see big things for Nesmith. His intelligence and work ethic is going to turn him into a great player.
