Yikes! I know this would never happen between these 2 teams but be great for us, not them ..Lakers & LeBron not happy with Kuzman & Harrell, so:

Celtics get Kyle Kuzman, Montrezl Harrell, K. Caldwell-Pope

Lakers get Tristan Thompson, Marcus Smart, Grant Williams, & Carson Edwards

I've soured on Montrez Harrell after his struggles in Laker land and previously in the playoffs for the Clippers the year before. I thought his added offensive punch as an undersized center was more valuable relative to his undersized limited defense at center than it actually was. I like him somewhat but not as a high value guy (role player). More as a midlevel bench player.

I like Kuzma but I am not giving up someone as valuable as Smart for him. Kuzma is another midlevel bench player who has the potential to be a high end bench scorer. That is not enough to justify giving up Smart.

And it will be because of Tatum and Davis, not LeBron and Davis.  ;D

Better deal for the Lakers, I think. In particular Trez and Kuz are not likely to bolster Boston's team defense, while losing TT, Grant, and especially Smart would endanger it. I could go on about shot-creation, which none of those Lakers do much of, but that's enough; not going to happen, nothing like that is going to happen.

Kyle Kuzma is straight up terrible. Especially in the playoffs. Would vomit if I ever saw him in the Celtics uniform
