Shawn Bradley was riding his bicycle and was hit from behind leaving him paralyzed..happen 2 month ago but first I heard of it..prayers to him

Wow. Prayers for him and his family.

My cousin (now departed from us) was paralyzed from just below his chest down for his last 20 years after a tree trimming fall. He was 6'3, and transitioning from chair - bed or really anywhere was a nightmare because of his long legs. I can't imagine what a task that would be with Bradley's legs being so impossibly long.

I’m shocked that the sports media hasn’t reported on this earlier unless the family kept it quiet.

Of course this is terrible news for anyone not just a famous person, but Shawn Bradley has a heart of gold, he put off his NBA career so he could work as a missionary in Australia. I believe after he retired he runs a non-profit charity for underprivileged kids in his home town.

Bradley truely is a gentle giant, people remember his career as someone who was a human poster by Jordan ect. but before injuries ruined his mobility he had huge potential, I actually think he would have been better suited in this era without the 90’s bruisers and improved medical science too.

Shocking news. From all accounts he is a really great person. Being that size and paralyzed sounds terrifying
