When acquiring players buying low , getting the most value for your money is usually the way to go. I know BBeal is the hot topic right now and I for one would think he would add value to the Celtics. However right now Kat’s value is probably at its lowest it has ever been for a variety of reasons.keeping J Brown and j Tatum together is something I would like to see for the future. If we could acquire Kat without using our tpe and go after Beal after the season . We would have the team to compete with anyone.

I don't think we have enough ammo to go after both.  If you look at the assets we have to trade that have at least some value, it's:
4 late first round picks
Smart
Theis
Williams
Williams
Langford
Nesmith
Pritchard
Ojeleye???

Divide all that up and tell me how you get to Beal and Towns with that??  I don't think it can be done.  Like there is a 0% chance we have the assets to go after both.

another point to consider would be the salaries of all these players, plus the bench you would to have for them.

this does not seem to be much more than a nice pipe dream.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

His value isn't low enough for the Celtics to get him without including someone like Brown unless he demands a trade like Harden and makes it known he only wants to go to Boston to play with Tatum and Brown.

Problem with KAT is Wolves made moves for Russell to make him happy. They are very invested. Maybe if they got their pick back, Green, and Wiseman they could deal KAT to the Warriors. They then probably have to deal with a trade demand form Russell. C's have no shot unless it's for JB or JT. Could C's look at Russell if Kat goes to Warriors?

I think Beal can be obtained fairly easily, maybe in the offseason though.  Pair him with Tatum and Brown and you have a super three.
