Zach Lowe is so irked by Doncic’s actions with regards to the officiating that this is the second time in the 6-week old season he’s complaining about this. And we all know how Lowe is a measured, toned-down individual with his words:

“Luka has become one of the biggest whiners in the NBA. It’s constant, every time he drives he is whining. He spent so much energy whining to the referees and slumping his shoulders to teammates, it sucked the life of the team many times.”

Its getting chippy.   I agree with Lowe.  Anytime you watch the Mavs.  Luka is sulking like no tomorrow + constant complaining to the refs.  Doesn't look like is having much fun.   

Two bad moves they made in the offseason was trading away Seth Curry.  And looking like weak draft selections (no contributions thus far).

It would take a ton. But I wonder if there would be a way the Celts could get him without giving up one of the jays

Kyle Lowry does this all the time. But these days, the refs can see that he is complaining because he is having trouble on his own

Last week he got ejected with less than 5 seconds in the game.   And the opposing team sealed the victory with the extra FT

Low key Mark Cuban is an embarrassment of a team owner, he has some Trump like qualities that I find repulsive. If he says things like that publicly, how does he treat people privately? People forget how there was a bad front office culture in Dallas that got swept under the rug not too long ago. I remember Dirk saying he had to tell Cuban to shut the F*** up during the game, because he would constantly be ragging on his own players on the court.

I get where your coming from 

Imo Cuban is probably scared that Luka will ask for a trade.  His Mavs team value would tank 20-30 percent on the spot

Dallas being as bad as they are with basically the same team as last year (maybe a bit more injured, but not a ton), I do think says volumes about Doncic and his leadership, or lack thereof, this year.

I don't necessarily think his complaint was about the complaining, but more so that the complaining is affecting Doncic's game and attitude.  Lots of stars complain and complain a lot, but it doesn't usually affect them, I think Lowe believes that Doncic's game is suffering and he is attributing at least in part to the complaining.

Expecting consistent leadership out of a 21-year-old isn't the best strategy for short-term success.

Growing pains and some immaturity should be expected.  Not enabled, mind you... but expected.

They do complain but its like every third non call.   

Doncic literally complains after every non call. Especially misses at the rim.   He will complain at the next whistle about previous plays/non calls

Lowe is right.  It is taking over his basketball play
