Like I said in another post, I be surprise if Kyrie will be with the Nets at the end of the season..upset with Nets organization for not getting his input on the coach and other things
Do you think he's tradeable? I wouldn't want him on my team. I know he has incredible talent, but even if you could put up with his BS, who knows if he's going to play.
The Clippers would take him. Beverley, Williams, Zubac, Mann, Kabengele (or wait until Feb 5 and do Patterson instead of the last 2) for Irving. Obvious talent downgrade for Nets and they won't really be able to get any picks since the Clippers don't have any, however they would have a much more cohesive lineup with the defensive PG in Beverley, a backup center in Zubac, and a scoring dynamo off the bench in Williams. And if you wait till February 5 you wouldn't even need to cut anyone as they have 3 open roster spots. Do it now and they can cut Luwawu-Cabarrot and keep both of Kabengele and Mann.
I think the Knicks would also take Irving. Not sure what they would give up, but the Nets could probably at least get Randle and the Mavs pick and because the Knicks have cap room Randle for Irving works financially which would also give the Nets a 12-13 million TPE. Maybe the trade is Randle, Ntilikina, Bullock, Mavs 1st for Irving. Again clearly not value for Irving, but something is better than nothing and they could at least get a pick back doing that.
I don’t see the clips doing it. They already have an unstable star there in George. Kyrie adds too much volatility to them and they will be out of assets. Knicks have no urge to trade for Kyrie unless nets attach a pick tot he deal ( which they don’t have now)
The only teams I could see going for Irving are wizards - to dump Westbrook albatross contract or OKC for Horford and Hill but they would want a few second rounders as well. Kyrie can help OKC finally tank properly which is not easy with how well Horford and Hill have been (not horrible I mean)
