I'm watching game 4 (the first finals game I've been able to get myself to watch), and I'm seeing a lot of the same in this series: Miami relentlessly attacking and getting great looks on offense and forcing turnovers and long possessions on defense.

From the way I heard people talking about Game 1 and 2 (and even the "fluke game" 3), I thought the Lakers would be steamrolling the Heat. So, if the Heat beat the "superiorly talented" Lakers team, is it time to acknowledge the Heat as a great team in and of themselves that it was not disappointing to lose to?

My gut reaction is it would still be disappointing to see them win because it felt like they were beatable, but I feel better about the Celtics' shortcomings (namely turnovers) because it seems they were by the Heats' design (and the Heat have made some of those end-of-long-possession shots that I wrote off as lucky flukes against Boston).

They're not beating the Lakers in a 7-game series lol.

But nah, if MIA beats LAL in the Finals I still won't be happy about the Celtics' season. They should have been in the Finals and not play sloppy ball. We need bigs, a decent bench, and guys who can stay healthy. Also, change up the offensive game and score more inside the arc than taking countless 3's.

I'd be happy that the Lakers won't catch up to the Celtics in terms of banners though.

As a pig in slop - "IF" MIA can somehow pull this off.

Anytime the Lakers lose I'm happy. It goes double if Lebron loses too.
