We've really been blessed with Brown and Tatum's improvements every single year. Even though Tatum gets more media attention recently, Brown keeps evolving in front of our eyes. His improved handle and shooting is something to behold, but in these playoffs, his FT% has been 90% on 5 attempts! He looks much more comfortable shooting them.

As a side note, the whole team has been shooting FTs lights out, with Kemba also shooting over 90%, while Marcus is at 94%. Hope I didn't jinx them.

Go C's!!!

Great point, I noticed how good a FT shooting team we are. Don't forget league champ Brad Wannamaker!  Even Time Lord was making his free throws until recently.  Expect to see the Raptors start to hack him tonight, they have no other defense!!

Brown seems to add something new after every bit of downtime. Clearly, during the break, he was shooting free throws like a madman and smoothing out his stroke.

Remember when people said he wouldn't ever be a good shooter because he couldn't hit his free throws at 70%? Now he is shooting 90% in the playoffs, 5 a game.

Hopefully you're right, but I can't help but wonder if it's just a result of being in the bubble (without fans actually being there).  There are plenty of examples of guys who (allegedly) were great at shooting free throws during practice despite their horrible in-game numbers, so could the bubble just be a similar situation?

I'll also note that Brown shot a career-best 72.4% on free throws during the regular season this year, so there was clearly some improvement from last year. I doubt he has suddenly become an elite 90% shooter, but even a jump to the high 70s or low 80s would be incredible
I'm bitter.
