Breaking news: #Celtics list Romeo Langford as AVAILABLE, despite a wrist sprain with torn ligaments. Brad Stevens told us Saturday it would be about pain tolerance for the rookie.[/quote}

Considering how hurt he was in college I think Romeo has a pretty seriously high pain tolerance

I did not expect to see him tonight. Yeah, it was only 10 seconds, but good to see that 1. Brad trusts him in a defensive situation like that and 2. he's apparently feeling good enough that Brad didn't just use him because he had no other choice

We might be seeing more of him depending on Gordon's ankle, too
I'm bitter.

He came in with 10.9 seconds up 8. I think Brad would even trust ME in that situation.  :D

but a tp for compensation.

I know, but we also have guys like Semi and Green that can fill the same tole. Going with him over either of them says something about how much Brad trusts him

nice shot Romeo!

kidding aside...whether or not he becomes a good outside shooter one day...he's going to be very good taking it to the basket.  As advertised...

Loving his defense...and under control play.

I agree.  I like his moves to the basket, although right now he is having trouble finishing.  I remember that Tatum had good moves to the basket at age 20 but had trouble finishing.  It took him a while to learn to finish stronger.  I would hope that Romeo develops the same way.

Romeo at Indiana - at least we know he can hit shots - just waiting on hitting NBA shots.

starts 32
MPG 34
FGA 12.2
FGM 5.5
FG% 44.8%
3PA 125
3PM 34
3P% 27.2%
FTA 194
FTM 140
FT% 72.2%
Reb 5.4
Asst 2.3
PPG 16.5

With his defensive dedication, just needs to score at a decent rate and he can back up two of the top players in the league whilst playing for Mr. Indiana Basketball.

Next season, someone will get hurt for awhile and he'll start 8 games and get some rhythm.
