Assuming Houston wants to move Capela at some point this season, what would be an enticing package the Celtics could offer which would make the Rockets bite?

Chances are that we 'd have to include one of our core guys in order to make this work (Smart/Hayward/Tatum/Brown/Kemba). I mean, the Rockets are a contending team. No way they'd be willing to trade Capela for future pick(s)/prospect(s) + salary filler(s).

Isn't Timelord a poor man's Capela at a very low cost?
If we can get more progress/development out of Robert we shouldn't need to go after Capela.

It's the trades you don't make that are most valuable sometimes. We have a unique blend of talent that is only going to get better. Both Tatum and Brown will be better basketball players at the end of this season than at present. This group of guys play together well, any one or even two of them can be rested at the same time and we still have a dangerous pair of scorers on the floor. Not many teams can do that, it will pay dividends in a short series. The only team in the East I really feel apprehensive about are the Bucks. Let's see how we fare against them.

This team defends well, top five.

We rebound well enough, about middle of the pack.

The 3 headed Center group we use is oddly balanced enough to be effective. There's a rebounder, there's a rim protecter, there's a savy defender too, if a bit undersized. If something reasonably inexpensive comes along then yes pull the trigger. But breaking up this unique core 5 players for a rental or exchanging two nickels for a dime will be a mistake IMO

Capela to Boston was only possible when the Rockets were pursuing Jimmy Butler.
