I wonder what their goals are with this season now?

Do they just tank and try to develop a couple young guys that could help next year (when all three of their All Stars are healthy again)?

Blowing it up seems a bit too premature.

Wonder what D-Lo thinks about how his season will likely go
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

They will tank and they will most likely end up with a top 3 or top 5 pick in the draft.

Imagine a team of Steph, Klay, Draymond, D-Lo, and a top 3 pick.

I don't see how that's the "most likely" scenario considering there are easily 5 teams worse than them. I also don't see them keeping D-Lo at all, especially with a mid-lotto pick.

For my mind, the most likely scenario is them trying to package D-Lo and their pick (6-12 range) for someone on the wing.

I don't know how bad GSW is going to be without Steph and Klay, but I'm sure they'll be a lottery team.

New draft rules also comes into play.
All the bottom 3 teams have equal odds of getting the #1 pick.
So if the Warriors are bad enough, they could end up getting in the top 3 or top 5.

They'll certainly be bad, but they're still better than Memphis, Cleveland, Chicago, New York, Washington, Charlotte and maybe both the Pelicans and the Kings. Or at least, they should be.

Do you think they'll look to trade the Top 3-5 draft pick for another star to add to a healthy Curry/Thompson/Green next year? What are some names they'll target?

of course. but a bit circular in the reasonsing, no? but yes, they do seem doomed this year relative to their mini-dynasty.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Too early to tell.

With a new arena and still having players like Steph and Klay, I don't think the Warriors would want a rebuild.

So it's really possible they trade their lottery pick for another star player.

I would not be surprised if the Warriors pursue Kevin Love.
Warriors can swap D-Lo for Love by December.

gouki88 was saying GSW might be in the 6-12 range, but I think GSW can sneak in the top 3 or top 5 if they're bad enough.

The only good player left on GSW now is D-Lo.

Steph is out until March.

Draymond is also out for a few weeks.

I just don't think GSW looks like an NBA team right now.
