Kids playing at tooo young an age against grown men and putting so much stress on a not fully formed body.A much tooo long season with tooo many games.
TV and gambling are now subsidizing these huge salaries that allow the players to hold basketball hostage. The business and branding are dictating, over player and team loyalty
The refs are told by the league how to ref regular season games and then the playoff basketball becomes
NBA basketball again. Why bother with defense in regular season-it hurts, its tiring and takes away from offensive production .Therefore money and fame.
The young players of both Celts and LA will never be the same again
with the public disclosure of wholesale trades Now with falling stars everywhere and teams like Celtics with tradition being infected and then held hostage.
There is no way, Kyrie will play defense with the Nets any longer than he has to.
Did Kyrie subconsciously sabotage those last four games?.In the last two years i have never seen him miss so many easy shots.
And now the possibility of throwing Marcus in the mix for salary another true Celtic with his defensive DNA.
This last season and now free agency in draft is enough to make an old timer sick to his stomach.

What is good for players, agents, NBA industry, gambling, television and press is not good for basketball as i know it.------a very unhappy fan.

Well said, Rollie!

I agree 100%.  The only reason the Celtics should resign Kyrie is to trade him. The dude is no leader.  I can’t wait until we hear the real story about what soured last year’s team after he is gone.

NBA has some major problems.  I am on the verge of moving on. Cleaning up the officiating and ending the star treatment would be the first place to start.

I think we're letting our Kyrie hate run away with us a little bit. There's no motive for Kyrie to sabotage his performance and destroy his reputation as a playoff closer for whatever reason. Basically the Bucks solved him and we had no answer because the rest of our team couldn't make shots either.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Good luck using normal human behavior or logic to figure out Irving’s motive.  I saw what Rollie saw, even if I can’t come up with a good explanation for why.

I think the most valid point is that playoffs get called much differently than the regular season. It is so freakin' obvious.  So many calls are let go. Frankly I wish the regular season was more like that. Just way too many whistles upset the game flow. I thought these playoffs were fun to watch, especially the Finals.

Kyrie would not intentionally try to miss, Rollie. He clearly became frustrated and discouraged, but he is too competitive a person to just tank it.

What exactly was he doing in that close out game?

I think kyrie was trying to prove that he is a superstar capable of leading a team by himself, and that's why he tried to do it all on his own ...
Memphis Grizzlies
PG: Dragic, Ball, Carter
SG: Temple, KCP, Holiday, Washburn
SF: Richardson, Anderson, Parsons, Casspi

I don't think Kyrie purposely missed shots or anything, I think he just didn't care anymore, and it showed. That was probably the worst stretch of basketball he's ever had.

Kyrie is overrated.

He can't defend, and he could not get it done against a strong defense in the playoffs.

In the playoffs he shot 38% from the field and 31% from three.

"Subconsciously  sabotage" like really wanting to go to the Nets and had enough of Boston. And that was a question.
I don't owe anybody"-i should have taken thirty"-Sounds like subconsciously didn't have the want.
