Klay joins Lebron in Space Jam 2

Probably doesn't mean much of anything, but it appears that Klay Thompson is the first all star (other than Lebron) to join Space Jam 2.  Given Klay's strong Laker ties, I've seen some online speculation that this might mean he is wavering a bit on re-signing with the Warriors.  I'm not sure I buy that, but it is still interesting that Klay has been more formally linked to Lebron with the Space Jam 2 casting.

If KD leaves as expected, and Warriors lose in 5/6 to Raptors, would not surprise me if he joined Lakers. His game would complement Lebron very well, actually. Like JR Smith, only a million times better/smarter.

Somehow I'm thinking this sequel will be much more "Speed 2" than "Godfather II".

I would be surprised if Butler doesn't join the cast. He made his acting debut a bit back and seems to enjoy it.

Maybe.  Irving seems like a real possibility as well given he and James buried the hatchet and he headlined a movie already.  His skill set is also perfect for that type of basketball movie.
