Wall has a big question mark....  I change my mind.

Let me ask you this.   Would No Lo take:

CP3/Brown/Tatum, #14, Memphis 2020 pick and Houston's 2023 1st for:

AD and Jru Holliday?

And would Houston love some Cap Flexibility while moving CP3 for and Expiring contract of Al Horford and filler?    Can you imagine the pick and pop w/ Al Horford?

Boston lets Kyrie walk, Trades AL and two 1st rounders for

Jru, AD and Capela?

No Lo gets a floor general to dish to 3 youn studs entering their prime?

There's no way that New Orleans trades for Chris Paul. He already walked out on them once. He left them when he was in his prime. There's no way they want him and his bloated contract back now that he's in decline.

This is easy to figure out. Both Houston or Washington would be thrilled to trade Paul or Wall, respectively, for Hayward. They'd have to send assets to the Celtics to get the deal done. Everyone knows that he's finally healthy and preparing to have a good season.

Yuh, for the 1billionth time - the Celtics are not trading Hayward. He is a even safer piece than Horford.

I will literally give everyone here 1 million TP's if he is traded*

Wall 100%. You can move the other two with relative ease, it's more about getting value. Hard to see a Hayward trade that would give better value than just staying put, similar story with Paul

I disagree.

He might not want them, but at least a year with paul tossing lobs to Zion would sell alot of tickets and make the team alot if money.

Gives paul a chance to show he can still ball as a proper pg amd raise his value. Then NOP can shop him if they all want.

But I believe paul would be fine being there for at leastba season.

They definately entertain that.

I love it

Brown
Davis
Capela?

Best defensive team in the league right there. Most likely a top offensive team as well. (Top 10)

Brown has been traded in this scenario. So Hayward would play at SF.
This is off-topic btw.

John Wall's contract is obviously the worst in the NBA. Paul's contract is awful as well. Contract of Westbrook is pretty bad, but since it only has two years left I don't think it will be much of a problem for OKC.

A contract that is a problem is Andrew Wiggins, who has 121/4 left on his maximum contract! Ouch!

I believe that Minnesota's decision to give Wiggins this maximum extension has crippled them and in the end will cost them Towns leaving. Two years ago they had possibly the most promising young core in the league and because of impatience and lack of accountability they have squandered that. It's a sad story.

Washington (Wall's extension, Mahinmi contract, trading Porter and Oubre for peanuts), Minnesota (Butler trade backfiring, Wiggins and Dieng extensions) and LA (trading Russell for cap space, Davis' debacle, giving up on Randle/Lopez/Zubac) all looked on a path to contention and now they're in misery. How things can change quickly in the NBA.

Hopefully Boston won't suffer the same fate  :-\.

If the Lakers lose out on free agency, I could see them absorbing Chris Paul from Houston for a mid level asset.

Given the injury it is Wall and it isn't even close.

I don't even know if they could move Wall if they attach not only #9 this year but next year's pick which they had no protections on.  That is how bad Wall's contract is.

For fun, this is the best I could come up with for Wall (trade finalized after the draft so they can trade next year's pick)

Wall, Brown, 9, WSH 2020 1st (maybe top 4 protected)

for

Smith, Love

I think that trade makes some sense for both teams.  Cavs pick up some more draft picks to help their rebuild and just sit on Wall.  Wizards gets salary relief and a player that seemingly would fit well with Beal and that probably makes them a playoff team for the next few years, while also getting out of Wall's contract.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Wall and it is not close.

Paul could be a great (to keep Lebron happy) fall back move for the Lakers.

There is sure to be at least one other team (besides the Celtics) that see Hayward getting back to close to his former self.
