Kyrie showed up as #1 trending on my search engine, so I clicked. Here are the two stories that I saw:

Story #1: "Celtics have 'little to no concern' Kyrie Irving will leave for Lakers, report says Sporting News· 5 hours ago"

Story #2: "Celtics have room for concern with Kyrie Irving situation Boston Herald· 6 hours ago"

So which one do I take seriously? Should I go with the Herald article, which tells me to be concerned, since it's local and from Bulpett?

Or should I go with one telling me not to be concerned, since it's an hour more recent and therefore must be the best and newest information?

I'm done with this game. Whatever happens, happens.

Mike

They’re just going to write about every angle so it appeases everyone’s interest and they’ll get a click from someone.  No point in believing anything unless it’s a direct quote in context, or something actually happens.

I guess it’s no longer news, but content for all people of different interests.

Can Danny and Brad just ask Kyrie?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Can Danny and Brad just ask Kyrie?

I can’t imagine Danny hasn’t spoken to Kyrie lately. I doubt he has a surefire answer (or maybe he does), but he undoubtedly knows more than any of these news outlets.

If Kyrie is all like, ‘I am definitely out of here at the end of the season,’ then Danny would trade him, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I agree with the OP - let’s just get past this stupid trade deadline and focus on succeeding with the players we do have this season.

I do admit, trade deadline is sort of a mini holiday for me. I get very excited...usually letdown though.

The best advice anyone ever gave me, was whatever Bill Simmons says, the opposite is true.

The man is irrational, clueless, and an attention seeker.  Nothing more.

Bulpett has been around a long time and is very tight with Ainge. I'd put a lot of stock in what he reports,

“I talk to Kyrie on a daily basis and see him all the time,” Ainge said. “None of that stuff that is out in the media this week that people have brought to my attention really matters to me.”
