Our old friend Jae Crowder scored 30 points and pulled down 7 boards against Toronto in 27 minutes last night.

Checking in with Crowder his shooting percentages have been very solid this season with averages of .350 3p% and a .532 eFG%.

Not bad for a player making just 7.3 million in the fourth year of a five year contract signed with the Boston Celtics back in 2015.  He'll be an unrestricted free agent again in the 2020-2021 NBA season.

In the meantime, his replacement Hayward has been laying eggs here and there...not bad for a max player earning 30 million/ yr of a 4 yr contract he signed with he Boston Celtics in 2017  :D 8) ???

So are we making threads every time a role player gets 30 pts in a loss? Because these forums might get a little backed up.

It appears Jae Crowder's performance lit a fire under Boston's favorite son Gordon Hayward. Hayward attempted 18 shots last night and scored 35 points against a flailing Timberwolves team.

Although Crowder has the edge in scoring average with 12.4 ppg this season compared to Haywards 11.1 ppg, Hayward now has more 30+ games than Crowder this season.

It seems the careers of these two players will forever be inextricably linked.

Only by fans who are weirdly obsessed with Jae Crowder.
