Everyone talks about AD trade, and i think that is pretty good, but how about we go for Julius Randle, i really like him and the package we need to get him should be way less empty!
We get someone who cant rebound who is aggressive who can score in the paint and we really didn't have to rip the team to get!!

your thoughts?

You're right that the deal would be less, but if I recall correctly he has a player option for next season. And if he keeps averaging roughly 20/10/3 I doubt he'd stick around for $9m. So the threat of him walking would scare me.

Plus, Anthony Davis is insanely good, and elite talent wins.

Don't need more average players.

Need another great player.

Cousins if he is healthy..
He's an UFA, and if he proves himself to be healthy he'll get big money.

I highly doubt that.
I'd bet on another short term deal.
That's not big money.

Everyone talks about AD trade, and i think that is pretty good, but how about we go for Julius Randle, i really like him and the package we need to get him should be way less empty!

The deal would be less and the results of the deal would be much less.  I would rather be more empty with several top notch stars who deliver the goods every night than a good team with good players that do not deliver every night.

GMs would love dealing with you though.

Well i already think we have the star talent in kyrie, tatum and hayward (give him time), now i'm looking for good players who can complement our team and i can see that in julius randle (only 24 years btw), and with this trade we don't need to rip the team and still have enough talent to develop our for further moves if needed...

Who recently has taken on a deal like this?

Paul George and LeBron have taken short term deals, but that's because the players are in the driver's seat.

Who else has been "forced" to take a short term deal like Cousins will possibly have to do?

We could have easily had Cousins before he went to the Pelicans. Ainge clearly is not interested in him.

I doubt this. I think we need an All Star big to become champions.

Not in today's NBA. All-star wings or point guards are enough in the modern NBA
