Would CBS threaten or leave Boston ?   Danny has always been loyal to Boston and the franchise first.

He is probably one of the least likely guys to get traded in the nba because his contract and injuries and uncertain value

I would definitely move Hayward (and or Horford) for Davis this summer.

The coming months Hayward has the time to prove he's a vital part of the team or otherwise Ainge should be looking to move him in the above deal.

If that would happen then Stevens just has to accept it. Ainge always does what he thinks is best for the franchise even if that means making hard decisions that have severe consequences for players. He shouldn't let the coach get in between, because one of his favorites is in the mix.

That would be a personal decision instead of a personnel decision.

Earliest time to trade Hayward would be trade deadline next year, I'd wager.  Assuming he's made significant strides back to where he was pre-injury.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I think Brad cares more about winning than he does his loyalty to any individual player.

I don't think any team will take on Hayward's contract unless he proves that he still has it. No one is going to pay 30 mil/year for a bench level player, or even something less than an all-star.

I think this team is better with a 100% Hayward
