Feeling good about all of the following:
- LBJ is no longer in the EC
- LBJ does not have significantly better players around him now
- Philly is striking out in FA
- Toronto hasn't done much and fired the COY
- Indy misses out on A. Gordon (okay this isn't real big)
- West will continue beating up on each other with PG back to OKC, CP3 back to Houston and LBJ to LAL
- Kawhi deal looking difficult for either LAL or Philly
- Kyrie and Gordon adds are better than any other team's changes

These were just off the top of my head.  Add to these/comment as you wish!

I think Philly's main objective is Kawhi. They may not get him, but imo, he's the guy they've been focused on.

Still think he winds up a Laker. He's almost certainly going to wind up one of those 2 places.

I don't think they were ever serious players for Lebron or PG.

Another big one:

Last years bottom feeders in the west got better. Namely LAL, PHO and DAL. You have to figure also that Memphis will at least enter the season trying to compete with Gasol and Conley returning.

It will be hard for Sacramento to fall outside to fall outside the top 5 and while we lose the pick if it ends up at #1. We still have a 75% chance of keeping the pick even if they finish dead last.

The money is drying up for the teams rumored to be interested in Marcus Smart.  The chances of re-signing him for good value appears to be improving.

If you were interested in keeping the AD pipe alive, you would like to see Cousins go someplace other than NO. Other than that it looks to be a HR offseason for us without signing anyone..

I don’t think that’s true.

When you can add a guy like LeBron or PG13 for no assets vs giving up a ton for Kawhi, you take the free agent. They just didn’t want to go there. But if either said they would, PHI wouldn’t go after Leonard.

Ainge kicked the tires on Butler and George last season, but felt confident he could get Hayward for nothing (besides cap-clearing moves). He could have made a trade for either, but the. We probably wouldn’t have Brown and others.

Kawhi probably goes to LA because I think they are actually playing it smart. If they sign everyone to 1-year deals, they will scare off everyone else thinking Kawhi will go there next summer. The offers will shrink, and they can get him for a moderate price.

86% if I'm not mistaken.
