We are gonna tag team Bron Bron, harassing the crap out of him.

Bron Bron by committee.....and Smart will be included in that tag team.

He defended Saric at critical points of game 5 vs Philly very effectively. Smart, Brown, Morris, Horford and Ojeleye will be the pack of hunters.

On offense, I’m pretty sure Bron Bron will cover Jason. And Jaylen.

We are like a pack of dingos with length and speed and stamina. We are going to grind these Cavs down.

Please, god, let this happen, lol, because if that does, in fact, turn out to be the case insofar as matchups are concerned, Tatum could have the series of his young career, imo, provided that we run plays for him like this -

and this -

People will be shocked at how even Semi is dwarfed by Lebron.  I don’t anticipate Semi being particularly effective against Lebron.  Semi shorter, can’t bother him with his length or his strength.

Giannis Antetokounmpo
6' 11", 222 lbs

LeBron James
6' 8", 250 lbs

Semi Ojeleye
6' 7", 235 lbs

Marcus Morris
6' 9", 235 lbs

I don't think Semi is really dwarfed by Lebron.  Now I am not going to say Semi would defend Lebron as well as he did on Giannis because Lebron is just at another level.  But if he was able to deal with the 6'11" athletic freak, I don't see why Lebron's height / size has anything to do with it.  Semi is a bit shorter than Morris, but Morris isn't as athletic or quick as Semi.  I think that Morris and Semi and Brown will be guarding Lebron off and on.  I don't think Semi will start.

I highly doubt that Lebron would be guarding Semi.  Lebron usually guards the best wing on the other team, sometimes he just guards the other teams best player like he did sometimes with Victor Oladipo.  Saying that we are giving a break to Lebron by playing Semi doesn't make any sense because Lebron won't be guarding him.  They will stick Korver or some other poor defender on Semi.

That James weight isn't really accurate. Earlier this year there was a report that said he gained 7 lbs in a game, obviously due to taking in large amounts of fluid to prevent cramping. However, the point is that his weight went up to 278. So for sake of argument, let's say he's still at 270, that's still 20 lbs heavier than what he's listed at.

So have you personally weighed him yourself?  I know that the posted heights weights of players might not be completely accurate, but what else are you going to go by?

I assumed you saw the report since it was everywhere a couple of months back.

I don't care either way.  Back to the point I was making.  If Semi can deal with size of 6'11" 225 (maybe more like 240lbs) greak freak, he can deal with the size of the 6'8" (whatever weight you want to say).  Lebron's skill level is what will be way more difficult for Semi to deal with versus his height and weight.
Well you should care, because 270 is a lot.  I stand by by own point, which is that Semi would be dwarfed by Lebron (and it seems the evidence may back me up).

As to handling Giannis, Semi is likely at least as heavy and likely more. And he has leverage working for his as his center of gravity is much lower.

And you’re really making stuff up about giannis’ weight anyway.  You doubt a report this Lebron got to 277 but you’re willing to make up the idea that Giannis is 240?  Huh?

Anyway, we’ll find out soon enough how Lebron looks agonist Semi (assuming he plays at all).

Its Semis lateral speed coupled with strength and his stance that might bother Lebron. He will be guarded by a collection of different styles.-hopefully he gets ground down playing both ends of court.
There are so many combinations and situations  but imagine a rookie even being mentioned starting out on Lebron Imagine a rookie doing a good job on Yannis  and helping win a series. Semi must be driving his critics egos into overdrive.
Will it be Morris, Marcus, Semi or Jaylen and Horford that are effectiveThere are a selection of players here that pride themselves on defense. Both individual and team.
But at some point Semi will get a go and hopefully be disruptive. He might cut off some angles and throw off Lebrons timing.
How Lebron has played as many games and minutes and carried the burden of a confusing season.
The old garden was such an advantage at times. My memory has Lebron cramping up from summer like heat.
We may be able at some point red line Lebron with consistent revolving pressure both ends.
He is after all human.

Yes, you're confused.

As for his critics, if I'm part of that group you're categorizing, I would say that I've always maintained he's a decent situational defender. He's capable of covering certain players, but Stevens didn't really have much confidence in him being effective defensively vs the Sixers. To be honest, if there was anyone that was completely wrong about the player, look no further than yourself because you continue to say he's a good 3pt shooter, yet, as statistical results show, you've been proven incorrect the entire season.

It was Lakers finals with Bird and the Old Garden was 97 degrees
Lebron cramped in San Antonio
Even better it was only 80 degrees.
Semi has a history in college was a good three point shooter  -
i'll refresh your memory "Semi sucks" No Motor Paper Athlete and further rants-a far cry from situational defender you have backtracked too
Semi shot 32% during season and 33% from three point line during playoffs and over 40% in college-I don't think your qualified to judge but his coaches are.
He is a rookie.
It seems  my errors can be based on optimism and i use quotes of coaches you seem to be looking to attack  and criticize our players and seem to revel when they do poorly to justify your attacks.
You border on stalking
Semi plays for the Boston Celtics a playoff team and has started and ended some games that in itself is accomplishment
-Now you have been warned not to bait and troll by MODS

You seem to be under the illusion that saying "Semi must be driving his critics egos into overdrive" is okay, but when a response is made then that's not. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Again, I don't think he's a good NBA player. In fact, as NBA player I think he kind of sucks. Unless he's not a complete liability offensively or has a Kawhi or Draymond level impact defensively then I'll continue to feel that way. He's playing because our team is decimated with injuries, but let's not confuse necessity with actual production. I'm sure Stevens would prefer he didn't have to turn to Semi and play 4 on 5 on offense, but we don't have many other options, save for Nader, which is even scarier.

I am not sure about “pack of dingos” reference.  It did make me laugh.  I do hope our speed length and stamina are useful in this series because Laborn is a ridiculous talent we may never see again.

This myth LeBron defends the best wing on the opposing team is WAY outdated. Yes he may kick it up a gear in stretches if someone on the Cs is going off but for a good part of this series you will see him resting on that end of the floor.

Lebron isn't use to this work load through an entire season and because of it has been the king of cramps. I think Brad will exploit this and force James to work on both ends of the floor. How he does this I have no idea but I will not be shocked to see us go at him early.

This is the least afraid of Lebron I've been since we forced him to Miami. Yup he's been on a tear but he hasn't faced a team that can run 5 guys who are all 2 way players. I think we matchup great against the King and look forward to over throwing his Thrown!
ok fine

Longer, stronger, younger (except Bron Bron) and relentless....doesn’t mean you’re going to win, but it usually means you have a chance.

They were dogged (like dingos) and ground the Cavs down from their relentlessness in the 4th.
