People, especially Laker fans said that Clarkson is a future star or Rodney Hood is better than Smart. Guess who's shining in the brightest stage right now? No excuse that all of them are still playing against each other.

Smart is just special, as special as Tatum on offense he is on defense. Can't remember a guard that does not guard, but STOP anyone 1 through 4 on any given night. Also his p'n'r is vastly underrated.

Smart's reaction is exactly what you tell your players not to do but you are happy they did.
Starting a fight at that point could help the cavs. It could escalate to a bigger fight with players being sent off. Not the things you want when you controll the series

But at the same time you want the players to protect their teammates . 'I am not taking your BS in my house' attitude.

Imho that is exactly who Smart is.... He can make you furious and extremely satisfied at the same with his efford .
