I thought this post was about the Philly trade in which The Celtics got Tatum.

There's lots to consider with this trade but I think Kyrie has not played his best basketball yet and I think Isaiah Thomas' best ball is behind him now.

A prophet

I wonder if he could predict who will win the ECF  8)

Ugh. Sad how true that turned out, regarding IT. Maybe he can come back after this surgery and still play productive ball but I doubt he'll ever see another all star game.

But yeah, this was a big reason the trade was always a good idea.

Um, Irving was worse this year then prior years and is currently out for the season.  As for predicting that Thomas wasn't going to repeat last year, I think everyone predicted that.  Not so prophet like.

fwiw, one could argue that this was his most efficient scoring season (career high in eFG%, tied a career low in TO) and probably the best defense he played for a whole season in his career.

Big factor in getting Celtics home court which has proven to be invaluable so far.

Yeah, I think the trade has turned out fine so far.
