Yes, we need Smart off the bench as the second point guard. I don't know what they do if we have more"Foul trouble"...

They could start Semi and bring Smart and Brown off the bench. Semi could hound dog Simmons to start...

That is an interesting idea.  Let Semi pick up any of those early fouls, and then come back in with Smart and Brown.

Is Brown on a minutes restriction because of the hammy?  I guess I don't really understand why if he is cleared to play that he is on a minutes restriction.   Isn't the possibility of re-injuring the hamstring just as possible in the first 25 minutes he plays?

I'm assuming that the minutes restriction allows Jaylen to manage the soreness between games.  It also eliminates any gray area for Stevens.  Jaylen averaged over 40 MPG in the non-blowouts during the Bucks series.  A minutes restriction makes this a non-option no matter how badly Jaylen wants to shoulder a heavy workload.

Maybe.

Not sure if I'd rather start with Smart/Rozier to match up with Reddick/McConnell and just have a better approach/effort or try to use Brown's size/strength against one of them.

If Brown was healthy I'd definitely want him starting.

I believe fatigue of the muscle plays a role in the likelihood of it being re-injured, so the minutes restriction may be to protect against fatigue.

If there are no extenuating circumstances (hypothetically), Brown should start, just like he did before the injury.  That is easy.  That they are starting Smart tells you that there are extenuation circumstances (minutes restriction or whatever you want to call it).  This is impossible to answer in any way except the hypothetical one.

I hope he is cleared to start.  I think we are better with him starting and Smart off the bench.

My question is, will Tatum or Brown finally post up Redick?
