The OP's ability to latch onto one fact or stat and hold onto it like a putbull while regurgitating said fact while also regurgitating his view point of view based on that fact/stat without taking anything else into consideration is.....admirable. I guess.

I think its also wrong. Tons of things lead to the loss in game 6. Rebounding...yes. But horrid shooting, lack of ball movement, lack of transition defense, lack of effort to 50/50 balls, lack of anything off the bench resembling offense other than Morris, bad defense on Giannis and Middleton.

There are a bunch of reason we lost. Not sure rebounding is the most important reason but it contributed. I have no problem going from Ojeleye to Baynes in the starting lineup. I think I like Horford on Giannis better than Ojeleye and Baynes can give you some offense, Semi can't.

Tonight we outrebounded the Bucks by 10.
No rebounds, no rings.
Except none of your suggestions came to pass, the Celtics played the same lineup and rotation, until Brown went down,  and a lot of other positives happened, like: the Bucks couldn't rebound to save their lives, the effort to the 50/50 balls was completely in Boston's favor, Boston shot better, Milwaukee shot worse, Boston gathered 9 steals and created 15 TOs overall for 17 points after turnover.

And yes we rebounded better but not because Baynes stared over Ojeleye

Start Baynes. The Ojelly thing did not work.

This prediction did not pan out so well.

Baynes gave us nice minutes off the bench. Ojeleye played tremendous D (again) and the Cs were somehow able to score in the paint again and again even though Giannis was cheating off Ojeleye and practically camping on the low block all game. I honestly don’t know how they did it. It was amazing.

lol
We played poorly until Baynes came in in the first quarter.
We outrebounded them and won.

I was an advocate of starting Baynes but let's be consistent with our analysis of the game.  Both he and Tatum were excellent during the late first quarter run.  What happened in the 2nd quarter with Baynes on the court?  We nearly blew a 12 point lead in 3 minutes.  The Celtics were able to stretch the lead back out with excellent play from Horford and Rozier in the 2nd quarter.

Baynes was no doubt a positive contributor last night.  So was everyone else who played.  Jaylen is probably the only player on the team who didn't make some sort of momentum changing play.

As for rebounding, we did an excellent job on the glass.  However, I completely disagree that rebounding was the catalyst for the win.  We forced the Bucks into difficult shots and consistently hit the paint with purpose on offense.  It's very difficult to rebound the basketball when you fail to do either of those things.  At this point why don't we just agree that the Celtics are a good rebounding team?  It's very low on the list of things that will make or break us against Philly.

A solid argument for letting Stevens make these decisions.
