The answer is no but not because of reasons people think.  Assets will have to be consilidtaed, not the other way around.  We can’t pay max money to Tatum, Brown, booker, kyrie, and  Hayward down the line.  And that’s probably what it would take to keep them.

Bored, I would say, you're daydreaming with that trade.

I think it's too much for Booker. He's definitely an offensive talent but he's also a rather large defensive liability. You'd be giving up two good draft picks and a good starting rotational player (on teams not as deep as us). I just think that if we give up the Lakers pick it should be for a franchise caliber player. I don't see Booker as a long term franchise changer. He's just a flashy guy that looks good on a crappy team, but where are the win shares? He has 2 WS on an 18 win team playiing 35 minutes a game. That's just not good enough to warrant 2 top picks and a good player.

I would not mind a trade of Rozier if Smart is resigned. But I don't think Booker is available.

I think Devin Booker is overrated, but he's still 21 years old putting up 24/4/5 on a rookie contract.

He's Phoenix's foundational piece. He's not going anywhere for that garbage package.
