It may be more complicated than that.  Maybe there were some underlying issues with the front office (like when he was injured), the firing of the GM he got along with and was up front with him, or even any of the players like Lebron.  Plus you factor in the Lebron centric offense they run, the much better coaching staff we have and FO stability.  It could be a combination of all those things why he wanted out.
