I love AB.

But it was time for a parting of ways. There was no way to make everything work with the unexpected decrease in the salary cap.

That being said, as wierd as this sounds, the C's have benefited from his departure defensively and rebounding wise. Playing with a bigger backcourt/lineup has been instrumental in the early season defensive and rebounding success.

I am glad though Detroit is doing well though. AB is a great leader and the last vestige of the KG era Cs. I'm glad he has had a positive impact on that Detroit team.

There is a reason we defend the three point shot so well.

It's harder to shoot over taller people closing out on you.

I liked Bradley but Brown is better for this team to win a championship.

Length helps, and JB rebounds much better. Bradley a better shooter at this point. JB tries to exceed his limitations as a ball handler, but in a developmental season, let him work it out.

Avery's spot was taken by younger, less expensive (for now) players. JB, Smart, and Rozier as well can all be thrown in as solid defenders or better. Bradley would've just kept taking minutes away from the future.

Best of luck, but the roster is only so big.

Danny spoke about this and specifically said it would have been unfair and a bad look in general to ask Gordon to take less.

Danny is pretty professional with the players.  Didn't ask Al to take a dime less, even though it could have helped. Didnt ask Gordon to take 500k less even though we could have saved Bradley if he had.

Wait for jabari bird to develop a little bit and you'll get your shooter

I'm still waiting for Colton Iverson and his double doubles every night in a C's uniform.

Had get rid of Bradley to sign Hayward..I rather have Hayward..plus getting Morris was big also..he's very underrated in my eyes
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

No, because they were not going to re-sign him at the money he will get, likely from the Pistons.

It was the right move by Ainge - he freed up the space for Hayward and got a cheap, versatile wing in Morris.

Just a reminder that the only reason we don't have Bradley right now is because last seasons playoff were so non-competitive they lowered the salary cap by 1.5-2 million....
