In for three minutes in 2nd quarter three fouls and a turnover and two missed shots-
This was a pathetic 3 minutes -great for driving price down

Any executive that uses 3 minutes as a foothold for determining players value, should be fired. We have a sample size of almost 3 thousand of minutes.

By the title I assumed Okafor had a large share of a stock and subsequently sold.

The most recent minutes are the most important ;)

No, the adequate sample size is the most important.
An example:
I saw MJ go 0-14 in a game (2,5 qtrs vs Heat), it didn't matter to my assessment of him as a player. It turned out that I was right.
Obviously, that is a crude example, but it works.

I figured he left the NBA altogether, got a job Wal-Mart and promptly dropped a load of paper towels he was stocking.

Ando, he was joking.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Guy is literally benched, ignored and his perceived value plummeting and finally gets on court and proceeds to draw three fouls a turnover and two missed shots and one blocked into a jump ball and gets yanked not to see court again-.Anybody looking to get him cheap or even philly trying to buy him out cheaper is going to use those results.

To be fair the larger sample isn't significantly more enthralling than the garbage he displayed today.

If the other players on the team like him and Brad wants to coach him I'd bring him in, otherwise the team is fine and there's no reason to rock the boat right now.

Okafor did that on purpose so he can get out of Philly.

I happened to click over to that game right before Okafor got put in and decided to do nothing but watch him.  Things people haven't mentioned are the lane violation on the missed free throw where he boxed out waaay to early, and being last man back in transition (ball watching) leaving Jerebko wide open in the corner for an easy 3.  You simply can't squeeze more ineptness into 3:08 than he did, he was entertaining though.
