For the sake of this list, I'm excluding current Celtics.

1. Giannis. - He has started to get a ton of hate around here, but for every superstar call he gets, he has another play that leaves your jaw on the floor. Once he figures out the normal physical "laws" of basketball don't apply to him, he will rule the NBA. And he plays elite defense. That means alot to me.

2. Kawhi- His ability to play both ends of the floor is a treat to watch. His ability to simultaneously work within a system, while exerting his will on the game is mind blowing. He is the guy Jaylen turns into in my wildest dreams.

3. Jokic- I love me big men who see the floor differently.

4. Gasol/Conley - Both under rated players who make the Grizzlies awesome. See point 3 for Gasol but with defense.

5. Westbrook -I kind of hate the play style he uses, but I love the intensity he brings. His motor is nuts, and in the era of buddy buddies, he is a breath of fresh air.

Mine is always current Celtics.   I like the team first, players second.

I don’t like a lot of guys on other teams.

IT, of course. AB. Boogie. Kawhi. I appreciate Lebron. Davis.

Traditionally I like dominant bigs, and there aren’t a ton of them.

I'm glad the Lebron, Wade, Melo. CP3 generation is on their way out.  Never liked any of them.  I like this younger generation much better.  My favorites from the last few drafts are:

Giannis
Embiid
Ingram
Fox
Robert Williams (2018) - Look ahead.  Surprised he returned for his sophomore season.

Older favorites
Rondo
Cousins
Kawhi

I'll always root for Jonas Jerebko (I'm Swedish). Since I currently live in Australia, I also follow the Aussie players a bit closer. Plus ex Celtics like IT,  Kelly and Bradley. Those are 'loyalty' favourites. When it comes to playing style, I tend to favour cerebral and/or creative players over those who depend on athleticism. Duncan, Nowitzki, Marc Gasol, Jokic, Ginobili...
