Ignoring the actual game, think Ball has some serious bust potential.  Always have.
way way too early to know anything for sure. people learn and grow.

but he needs to fix his defense, his inability to go right and shoot, and his mid range shooting. also, he seems to shy away from contact, so physical guards might abuse him.

his passing is stellar. but without a very good 3 point shot, he might turn out to be pretty one dimensional.

we shall see more tonight.
It's a projection.  Not too early for that at all.  And yeah, I know people grow.  But there is a basic skillet one can evaluate that does not change that much.

he ll go Jason Kidd on the Celtics .

We have no guards on the summer league team worth a flip .  He'll feast.

Ball. will go crazy with nobody to guard him.

The guy couldn't beat Kendall Marshall off the dribble. Wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I'm ashamed to say it brought me joy to hear of the struggles of  Lonzo, because of his nitwit Don King wanna be father.

This all reminds me of a movie I saw when I was a kid about Red Sox rookie Jimmy Piersall, and his father.
The father eventually drove his son crazy by putting so much pressure on him.

Minus his dad...and Lonzo will be fine.

Is that the Tony Perkins movie "Fear strikes out"?
