Last I checked, Lakers are still in the West and will get creamed often regardless of adding Lopez.  i'd peg the Lakers at 27 wins. 

Nets I peg at 23-24 only because some teams in the East got worse so the Nets could sneak a few more wins than they should.

Atlanta seems about 10 wins too high. I don't get how they don't decline more losing Howard, Milsap and likely Illasova (and possibly Hardaway)

I predict Nets will win 25 games and the Lakers will win 33

Nets' will have the second worst record and the Lakers will have the 5th or 6th (hopefully 5th)

A little lottery luck and we're picking #1 and #3... take Ayton and Porter (or preferably Marvin Bagely iii if he re-classifies)

they're likely the same people who've been saying that the prior 2 seasons.  I've been saying they'll have a bottom 5 record those season and I've been on the money.  I'm predicting a bottom 8 finish this coming year -- not because they've gotten better but because a number of other teams have gotten worse and a fair number of them are in the East so Nets likely to have some competition as a bottom feeder this year with some teams obviously hoping to strike lottery gold for this coming draft.

I had doubts about the Laker pick conveying next season but seeing how other western teams have improved their teams, I suspect the Lakers will be a bottom 6 record.

Still see the Celtics using Lakers pick to get a big. Holding onto the Nets pick. Could be wrong.

Lakers play 52 games vs the West and almost every team is better. Let's say they go 14-38 vs West teams. Then they play 30 vs the east. Let's say they go 15-15 vs the east, and that is generous. That is only 29 wins.

The Hawks strike me as such a 37-win team. They're utterly mediocre, but they have great coaching, too much talent to be a complete bottom-feeder, and are in an historically bad conference.

I'd sat the Kings and Lakers will be neck and neck for suckage..

Are we pretending that the Lakers have gotten considerably better because they only won 26 games last year and tbe west has certainly gotten better. They did get Lopez, but he didn't come for 'free.' It is also a reach to think that He will be completely healthy again.

I would peg the Lakers at 26 wins, the Nets at 25.
