That's actually pretty uncommon.

Wow, J.Evans was at the three point line when Tinsley threw it up there. Excellent weighted lob pass. Dropped beautifully for J.Evans to explode into it.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
It was an interesting play, but having thrown down a few alley-oops in my hayday, it was actually pretty easy for Evans to catch and throw down. There was so much lob on that ball, I am surprised it didn't hit the roof. The foresight from Tinsley to assume Evans was going to get there is more impressive.

Making alley-oop passes is actually quite underrated. When players can't do it (see Brandon Knight three games ago ;D ), it's pretty funny. hehe, it's the one thing you can't really practice by yourself.

Nice play but I would be more impressed with Jeremy Evans if he could hit free throws at a 75% clip.

Something about watching guys being able to throw down alley oops like they could do it in their sleep and like they practiced it for thousands of hours yet be unable to hit a free throw at a 65% rate just causes me pain.

Guess I'm just old fashioned.

BTW, I agree with others that the most impressive part of that play was the pass not what Evans did.

His career FG% is higher than his career FT% ;D

This is one of my favorite plays of the last few seasons.

And that oop by Tinsley is ridiculous. Impressive by both players.

I keep waiting for Evans to blow up but he never quite seems to put it together.  Might be BBIQ issues, haven't seen enough of him to say for sure.  But he's super-talented.

One of the best raw athletes in the NBA.

At the same time, one of the lowest skill levels in the NBA.

I'm still amazed by how high he jumped for the block and how few steps he took to dunk it... two steps from the half-court line, it almost seems like... (not really) but  :o :o
