It is only 1 more pick but I do like the protections on it looking at it.  To me it is as close to a lock for a top 5 pick in the next two years as you can get.

I'm sorry this is a garbage trade.  To accept protections on the Lakers pick.  And if Philadelphia ends up with the #1 (via LA) next year, you get egg all over your face.

I would have expected and demanded MUCH more to give up Markelle Fultz.  If Fultz turns into an All-star and Jackson just a role player.  Wow...  Jackson doesn't even make sense when you have Jaylen Brown in the fold and are looking to sign Hayward in the offseason.

*SMH*  If this is true, this is bull**** trade and DA deserves to be booed.  I thought he was much better at extracting resources than this.

Celtics will get Lakers pick if it falls between 2 and 5 in the 2018 draft, per league source. If not, the Celtics will get the Kings in '19

This is really, really bad.
2-5 protection is the best possible protection imo.

Plus sac town management is truly terrible.

I just wish it was more than 1 first.

I would have been okay with 6-30 protection, but now this pick can't even get us Doncic, who might've made the trade worthwhile.
Doncic is not necessarily gonna be the #1 pick

I think he will be the clear #1 by June of 2018, which likely means we'll get #1 and trade it for another bundle of crap.

Luckily we still have the Brooklyn pick.  Although I know I just jinxed everything.

I physically and emotionally cannot handle getting #1 again. I want a bunch of picks with little value in the 2-5 range. I want to be the new Magic.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

2018 Lakers (2-5)  So if it lands #1 or outside of #5 then

Celtics grab the 2019 Kings pick (assuming unprotected)
