If Fultz's D will be like Harden's, I don't want him.  Even if he avg 30.  I don't want Harden !

Defense is slowly disappearing and those who excel in it are becoming less valuable, which is sad because I love watching good defense. But with the way fouls are being called, I guess that should be expected.

Fultz has an attitude that is completely different to Harden (as it stands now). He is one of the biggest gym rats around. There is no way he will play that super lazy James Harden/Jahlil Okafor type defence.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Arguably the two best teams in the league this year: GS and San Antonio were the two best defensive teams in terms of defensive efficiency this year and when comparing the def rtg of GSW to the playoff media, GSW had the largest gap of any champion since they started recording the stat. Meaning that GSW was arguably more elite defensively relative to their peers than the Wallace led Pistons or the '08 Celtics or the Bad Boy pistons.

You need both to win. GSW won becuase they had better players than anyone else. Not because they were amazing in any single area.

Last time I looked Harden and Westbrook don’t have rings and probably never will. Curry has teammates that make up for whatever they lack and have so much firepower that it makes no difference.

Who's the best defensive player in this draft?  We should probably get him. Maybe Donovan Mitchell. Him and Marcus could form the best backcourt in the league for years to come. Also if he were healthy Patrick Beverly would be a great addition to our team. Maybe Andre Drummond

LeBron James and Draymond Green would like a word.

Mitchell reminds me very much of Terry Rozier 2.0, so I don't think he's the answer.  Pairing him with Smart would be an offensive disaster.  As I said above, you need two way players to win.  Drummond likewise, disaster, and he isn't even a really good defender.

Josh Jackson baby.
