This may have already been discussed but I watch this video and see a future star. A humble, hardworking kid who is an athletic freak. My God the future is bright for this kid (and the Celtics).

Our future Dwayne Wade with a slightly better 3-point %  8)

Or Jimmy Butler would suffice too!  ;D

handles need to tighten up

Brown may never be an all star but I have confidence he can be at least as good as Iguadala

It took Smart a couple seasons to get his handle right. Plus we're only a couple weeks outside the season. Kids got months to work on his handles.

Hasn't he acknowledged that he needs to improve his handle?  I'm pretty sure I have heard him say that.   One thing I like about him is his willingness to admit the weaknesses of his game and his need to earn his playing time.  That along with, by all accounts, a great work ethic, bodes very well for his future.

Iguodala was an all-star.

One all star game is luck.  Need multiple to be considered a true all star.

To me his handle is what determines his future. If he improves that significantly over the next few years, I believe the rest of his game will follow suit. He's got the athleticism and work ethic to be special. We watched his game improve over the course of the season, and I expect that to continue.

In honesty Iggy's selection that year was quite weird, in that it wasn't even close to his best years where he was basically a 20/5/5 guy with elite defence. Prime Iggy is still a good comparison athletically speaking.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

He's just not quick twitch with the dribbling drills at all. Which is wierd, cause he's such a fast twitch type athlete.

I wish it were true but there are other aspects of his game that need to improve.  I still don't completely believe in his shot, and he needs to work on those little mid range shots he gets (turn around, pull ups, etc.).  They need to become more or less automatic.  Also, handle is one of the more difficult things to improve dramatically.

Time will tell.

Sure, however Iguodala is one of the guys who shouldve been a multiple all-star, around 3. People forget how good he was in his prime.

Yeah. He have a much better playoff record when it comes to carrying teams, compared to guys like Cousins, Love and Irving who never really carried any teams in the playoffs.

I'm not worried about Jaylen or any of his current weaknesses. He's only 20! Yes, 20 years old. Tell me about his weaknesses in 2-3 years when he's an all-star and still only 23.
