After that injury PG hasn't been his old self(superstar potential), he plays scared
not high on the idea to beat KD/Lebron with your star which is below them

See, this is what bothers me, people don't even pay attention to what is actually happening, they just get this narrative in their mind and stick with even when facts prove otherwise.

Paul George just registered his highest individual season in PPG, FG%, and 3PM.   He also scored his highest playoff PPG, 3PM and 3P% of any season, head to head against LeBron.  28 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 7.3 APG, shooting 43% on 10 3PA.  Yes, his team got swept, but that is a direct result of him having very little surrounding talent.  The fact PG put up those numbers against a defense that was solely focused on shutting him down, sometimes even triple teaming him, is impressive.

Absolutely spot on! I have no idea where this bs of PG isn't a great player or he's a shell of himself is coming from. He comes here and he's easily the best overall player on this team imo.

i like PG ,  for his offense game that can match top five players or cancel them out in scoring.

It's why I'm in a little more in favor of signing Griffin than Hayward, then possibly trade for George.  We would have a well balanced very strong team.

I don't think anyone questions his talent, fit on this team, or his worth in today's league.

The only real question with giving up legit assets for him is whether he would resign here. If you don't believe it's likely, you can't trade for him.

Great player, would be great between IT and Horford. If he's committed to taking down the top 2 instead of chasing Tinseltown, Ainge would pull the trigger.

For us to beat GS, we need Jaylen Brown to be that guy. Expecting him to be competitive against Durant next year probably isn't realistic, but the year after is. He has to evolve into an elite two way player. We aren't getting to the top unless some of these younger assets become great players.
