Let's tie this thing up. We have to make Love and TT play some defense outside the paint.

Well, he did score 11 points in 13 minutes.

I scratch my head quizzically at Brad's rotations at times.

He was the only Celtics' Player besides Jaylen  with a positive plus/minus.

I like the high pick and roll he runs with IT, creates a real threat.
I like the pin down screens they run for him.
I like how he opens up the floor for IT.

I am astonished at how effective he continues to be at times, due to the erratic minutes he is given.

I would say the same thing about Steven's treatment of Brown, who I also think needs to see more minutes. Brown played gutsy Celtics style basketball, and guarded Lebron well on the perimeter.

Let's hope this gives us a lift.

Jaylen Brown is a much better defensive player on the ball than off the ball!

Who is Gerald going to match up with?

Green did a decent job on Lebron last game. But I prefer Brown guarding him for most of the game.

Green is one of our worst defenders. He jumps at every single pump fake. This is not the series for him imo, but I hope I'm wrong. I much prefer Brown against the Cavs.

Green may not be on level with Smart, Bradley, Crowder, Horford or even Amir but he is a better defender than KO, JJ, IT, and JY.  I like his help defense. But I agree, he goes for way too many ball fakes.

I like it.  We need another scorer out there, and someone to spend fouls on LeBron.  Find out early if Green has his stroke -- if he does, keep playing him.  If he doesn't, bring in the rookie.

That is a good question.  Is green guarding Thompson?  If so, he better be a mismatch on offensive end.

I like it too.  Hail Mary attempt.  Either we rain 3s, or we lose.

Well no matter who plays, we are not getting a lot of defensive rebounds. So biggest problem for us was the pick and roll in game 1. With Green we get mobility which we can you for defending the pick and roll plus we will defend the 3 point line better and hopefully Love won't get easy points and open shots. And for Lebron no one can defend.

Horford should be on Thompson. Crowder should guard Love.

well either Crowder or Green are going to be on Love. The point of this is that the pick and roll killed us in game one so we get mobility in defending the lebron-love pick and roll
