It's the best defense against illegal screens, which happen almost every possession at this point.

Not when Kelly is switching to Lebron.

I'd rather take my chances with a trap or preferably a 2-3 zone.

heh that plays into my strategy that we cannot afford to double lebrob and he will score but let's make him score 70 to beat us and try to lock down others as much as we can. no way lebron scores that from outside. he will go cold while others could be hot. make him score all the points. but from outside. 2-3 zone here we go! because lebron will score 100 if we give him layups all game. may have to play off but so be it.

I agree. Let him shoot jumpers. If he's hot, you lose...if he's not, you have a chance.

The 2-3 zone also keeps bigs in the paint to block out their rebounders.

yep, so true. 2-3 zone allows you to block out and rebound whilst hampering any postgame the opponent has down low.makes u beat them with outside Jays. right up our alley with lebron. worth a try!

Except for Lebron and Tristan Thompson, the Cavs team is full of shooters. Love, Kyrie and JR Smith can obliterate you from the outside. As well as their bench like Frye, Deron, Korver, etc.

yeah well pick your poison. it is why i said they are so deadly with other players make lebron score 60 or 70 just in order to keep others out of rythym and maybe we have a punchers chance. he will miss shots from outside eventually we have seen it. he kills us with his all around game. keep him outside. i can live with the results if we make him do it all from OUTSIDE. let's be honest we are all grasping for straws at how to beat this team with what we currently have. LOL
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Yes, I'll let them beat me with 3 pointers before I let ko guard LeBron on switches.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Zone D's major weakness is it is harder to block out. Easier man up.
