George will reportedly weigh his options regarding his future as early as this weekend, per the Indianapolis Star.

Paul Pierce knows what's up

And PG13's retweet is just confirmation

I really want to draft Fultz.

Is there a way to land PG13 without trading the #1 pick (yeah I know, there isn't)  :(

There is ZERO chance Danny would trade the #1 pick for a one-year rental of PG13.

I believe everyone from IT, KG, PP and Bird are telling him going to the Lakers isn't going to get him closer to a title. They are light years away.

Remember everyone thought Westbrook was signing in LA and all these other top FAs.

I think Ainge is gearing up for a Allen and KG type deal for Hayward and PG. One signs if the other signs.

Doing that REALLY hampers our front court though and leaves us with little options.

Plus, they both play similar positions, unless George is willing to play more of the 4 (but I don't think he is).

But adding George and Hayward to "most" of this current core would definitely be legitimate threats to CLE and even GSW.

It's just way too much of a risk at this point. Love was going to play with LeBron. What's to stop PG13 from deciding that the C's are just as far away from a title as the Lakers are with LeBron in the East and bolting home?

Fwiw, Zicic would supposedly be a top 10 prospect in this draft, and has played pro ball. He adds a lot of size to this team if you want to go big.

I know he's a rookie, but he would just have to provide a limited role.

If you want to go big

IT
Hayward or Jaylen
George.    Or Jaylen
Horford
Zicic

Shut down defensive lineup

Rosier
Smart
Jaylen
PG13
Horford

The pieces match very well together.

Plus vets chasing a ring will want go join.

It absolutely should be.

George is on an expiring contract.

I would give up 2018 BRK, additional picks, Bradley/Crowder and Smart/Rozier.  That should be a very competitive offer.

No #1 2017, no Jaylen Brown.

Boston doesn't need to make a deal  until they find out what the market for George is.
No way I part with the Number One pick if they deem this year's draft to be franchise players.
Cap considerations are a must!

Drafting a cornerstone player= Low cap money
                                                 growth-long term
                                                 building for future

Boston has enough picks and players to make a Paul George deal or one for another  marquee player.

Besides, another consideration is to build through the draft and make a free agent signings.
