Thought this would be a fun poll and possibly interesting discussion to hold us down till Monday.

As much as I hate the Bullets and want to watch them play in the ECF, this is a no-brainer.

#1 pick.....not even a question.

I chose the pick but winning game 7 is probably important to attract FAs.

I was thinking of starting a similar thread.

It's clearly getting the #1 pick.

I absolutely hate the Wizards more than I've ever hated any other team the Celtics have played.

However, I'd rather get Markelle Fultz than win one game and then almost certainly lose in the next round.

Losing to the hated Wizards is a tough "bullet" to take but it's sort of an easy choice for me.

Now, losing to Wizards and then getting the number 4 pick would really blow.

Heck CoB, then make it simple and choose. The BOTH option above. I did. ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Haha both would be awesome! We must crush the Wizards! And also, Markelle Fultz looks like a potential franchise player! Fingers crossed.

HORRIBLE POLL.

You destroyed your own poll when you gave the option of not making a call. You could have just put an option for 'I don't know' instead of the 'we must have both' option.

If you want people to choose between game 7 and the #1 pick, you do not give them an option to choose both. Choosing 'both' is like saying 'draw' either is just as good. JMHO.

Last time I boxed people in on a poll to pick an either or, people complained and the Mod changed for more diverse options.

If its either or, I want that first pick.

The leverage that first pick creates in this super hyped draft is huge.

Fultz looks like another Harden, Westbrook or Wall.

The trade potential is also sky high...

Of course we are now set up for a double nut kick by losing both Monday and Tuesday.

What's the point of including and option for both?  That weenie.

If we're going to pick, then pick.

Lotto pick is out of our hands. At least we control our fate in game 7.

FA's don't care if we got lucky in the draft, they are more concerned with how we execute important games. No one expects us to beat Cleveland but we should be in the ECF.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

As much as I want to curse you I'm sure more than a handful of franchises would die to make it to game 7 at home in the 2nd round AND guaranteed a top 4 pick in a deep draft.

I got a little greedy and voted both. The #1 is important but so is making it to the ECF. We're probably a piece or two away from really competing, but I think playing the Cavs in the CF would serve as a useful measuring stick to see how we really stack up. Lots of people calling for a sweep but I think the gap might be a little closer than it seems (hopefully).

Both would obviously be ideal, but the first pick is more important. Not only does it maximize our trade possibilities, but I'd love to see what Danny can do when he has the first choice in a quality draft. If we keep the pick and Danny hits on it, we could be set up to be legitimate contenders for the next 12 years.
