Brown is averaging 15 PPG, shooting 48% from the field per 36 minutes in the playoffs. It's time we start him over Johnson for Game 5. Source of stats are below.

Who do you think should get the start?

idk about him starting BUT I do think we need to start cutting minutes from certain players like Crowder/Smart, etc to start

I love Smart but I think this isn't a series that is in his favor...he's built like a tank, and unfortunately also moves like one lol. It works for the Chicago series because Butler and Wade are pretty much "big" guards as well vs fast guards like Wall and Beal. We need bigs in this series so I don't think it's a matter of starting him over Amir. Rather we probably will need to start utilizing Zeller or Jerebko.

I think per 36 min stats are next to useless when we're talking about someone who has played just 73 minutes over 9 games.

That said, I've liked what he's brought to the court when he has played and I'd like to see him start. Put him on Beal and slide Crowder to the 4. I think that starting lineup makes a lot more defensive sense.

I'm of the mindset that I don't care who starts, but I think that Brown should be playing more minutes than Crowder & Smart. His athleticism, his ability to drive, and his willingness to fight for rebounds can help this team more than his rookie mistakes will hurt them. There has been no shortage of mistakes from the veterans on this team.

I think the same goes for Rozier.

73 minutes is a small sample, but most of Jaylen's numbers don't look great.

Our off rating with him on the court is 94, worst on the team outside of James Young.
Our def rating with him on the court is 114, worst on the team outside of Gerald Green.
His box +/- is -5.8, worst among rotation players.
His FT attempt rate is .069, tied with Bradley for lowest on the team.
He does not have a blocked shot.

I'd say Rozier has earned the minutes.

LOL, this post is hilarious.  Much of Brown's numbers came during garbage time.

good stats PNR, thanks and a tp. this supports what my eyes have said on jaylen so far. he has had a few moments, but overall i think he has a way to go.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
