First, NO. He's awful and does nothing to help on the boards. Can't score, terrible hands, slow.

I'm at a lose who to start and firmly believe that's the biggest hole in the line up. A big who can bang and rebound with other teams bigs.

I'm going to go with Jerebko. He did pretty well as a started in the playoffs last year, if I recall correctly. He rebounds a bit, plays decent D, and is active. I prefer KO off the bench and I'm not sold on Brown starting. He seems more like an energy guy off the bench.

I like Jerebko(even though his 3 is off compared to last year). But I'm afraid Morris will bully him. Maybe start Kelly and have him bait Morris into foul trouble, it won't be hard.

Stevens pretty much shot down Amir or Green starting again, and rightfully so. He said both were "fine" in their starts, but they have to find a better lineup to stop those quick starts.

I still hold that you must go with JJ or Brown.

I would start Brown or Jerebko.   Add some size and speed.   Need to do something to slow down the Wiz starters.

It has been really weird that Brad went to Green over Jerebko or Brown.

I am going back to Rozier. I realize he is a little small, but he is certainly long and that should be enough to limit Porter who certainly won't go blowing by Rozier.

Rozier is also a powerhouse rebounder. Even though he isn't 'big', he gets himself into the lane with authority and rises over everybody. He has done this consistently since I first saw him in a Cs uniform.

And, finally, Rozier has actually been productive when he has played (last night notwithstanding, where he only somehow managed 8 minutes even with most of the game being garbage time). KO and Smart can keep their bench roles and we can even filter in Brown. But, at this point, Rozier is more game-ready than Brown.

Marcus would give us another solid defender to go against the Wizards first unit, and would really be in the lineup as a defensive specialist.  If he can hit a corner three or two that would great, but it would be less pressure for him offensively with our other starters out there.  Brad could also use Marcus as a ball handler, which could open up some interesting possibilities.

Starting Jaylen might be the best choice as far as I see.  Jaylen's​ minutes have been sporadic, but he has played well with the starters before.  He could also add a defensive presence against the Washington backcourt, and starting Brown doesn't disrupt the main bench unit of Smart, KO, and Rozier.

The starters are much much worse. He's role is to defend the perimeter and slow down Wizard's perimeter shooter which he did a good job in both game 1 and 2. It makes me scratch my head why Brad switching him with the likes of Bogdanavic and Beal.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him start Zeller honestly. I wanted KO to start from day one this season, but that didn't happen, and I don't think it is about to now. Might be a good sink or swim test, but we only have 2 bigs that are perfect system fits and starting both KO and Horford could really mess up our bench (which could be a sink or swim test for everyone else on the bench.)

Jerebko hasn't been the same since he broke his nose, Amir's feet seem to be bothering him again, Mickey hasn't shown anything yet at the NBA level, and that leaves Zeller.

Or we could keep trying to play small, I suppose. That isn't easy when you keep turning the ball over and missing shots though.

Were you watching when Amir started against the Bulls and Lopez had double digit rebounds? How about when Amir started in Game 1 and Wizards started 16-0?

Amir has been horrible. Get over it.
