Who should we send to the Lottery?

Ainge?
Wyc?
Tommy?
Bill Russell?

We need to get lucky finally. I know IT got us exactly what we should have last year (neither good/bad luck), but I sure hope he has a game to play that night.
Maybe someone already said this, but technically do the Nets go and not us?

They didn't go last year or in 2016.

Why start now?

We don't need their loser vibes around our pick anyway.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

last year, their pick was ours, this years its a right to swap picks so it's technically theirs.  i wonder when we can exercise it?  btw, i nominate kevin mchale.  little luck of the irish needed.....

Last year was 2016.

The Nets didn't go last year because they had outright traded the pick away, so it wasn't theirs anymore.

And in 2015 (if that's what you meant) the Nets were actually in the playoffs and not in the lottery.

Actually I believe it's not even a swap anymore, the C's have already swapped the pick, so it's outright theirs now (I think I read last week sometime that the C's had officially informed the league that they're activating the swap, not really news though because well duh).

So it will be someone from the C's organization representing for the C's at the lottery (unless Danny has a sick sense of humor and asks Billy King to go for them, he has after all been a good luck charm for the team  ;))

What's really interesting is teams like the Lakers, Kings, Pelicans, where they'll send a guy but could lose their pick.  New Orleans only has a 4% chance of keeping their pick, but they'll send a guy anyway.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

i 2nd that, PP retired after the year, so let's give him a position in the Celtics organization and send him!

Pierce gets my vote. Good way to reconnect him to the franchise and rub it in the Nets face at the same time.

I guess you can't send the lottery a player who is UNDER CONTRACT with another team. Pierce won't be the one going, at least this year.

Send IT again.

He got us 3rd pick when we had third best odds last year.

It stands to reason he will get us first pick when we have best odds.

Just do your job like last time, IT!!
