Amir is limited and definitely replaceable, but anyone who thinks he's not contributing positively out there isn't paying attention.  He's a glue guy and is much more consistent than say Olynyk, who plays better than Amir when on but far worse when off.

So the short version is A. because he has a positive impact, and B. because we don't really have better options behind him.

Brad managed pretty well Amir's minutes this season. As a result he's entering playoff in a great shape. Depending of matchup, Amir should play way more during the playoff. He's so good on team defense and to set screen. Plus I just love the way Mike Gorman laugh each time Amir make a 3s with his slow release.

Amir is a better defender, a better rebounder and more consistent than Kelly or Zeller.

Kelly is a better offensive player and the second unit needs scoring, so Kelly is more useful on the second unit.

Seems simple and obvious to me.

Solid rebounder and good defender.  Does a lot of the little things like setting screens well.

Not everyone has to score 15+ ppg to justify a starting spot.
