In the 7 games since this happened Smart and Brown have played 79 minutes and have been outscored by 73 points while on the floor together.  That is -45.2 points per 100 possessions and somehow the C's still won 5 of those games...

In those 7 games Smart has played 120 minutes without Jaylen on the floor and is +32 in those minutes.  Jaylen has played 38 minutes without Smart and is +29.  Maybe just a coincidence but that certainly doesn't look good.

Id say that's mainly due to them playing with the first unit, specifically IT, when they're playing individually and not with the other. On the other hand, when they're playing together they're largely playing with a primarily bench unit without IT. This corresponds to us really struggling lately when IT is off the i.e. we just can't score efficiently without him.

Maybe it is just me, but I find that Marcus (either deliberately or by design of play-calling) is not passing nor looking for Jaylen on offense. If Marcus passed to Jaylen 10 times since "the dispute" I'd be shocked.

Close guess.  Marcus has passed to Jaylen 13 times in the last 7 games with 1 assist.

I think it speaks much more to how poor the ball movement has been with the bench units than anything.

Did not pick up on this. Not sure there is anything to read into. Obviously if deliberate Stevens will correct.

On NBA.com in the tracking data there is a section called passes dashboard.

They seem to run maybe one play per game for Jaylen. Jaylen's is open a lot because there teams figure out quickly that Smart is not looking for him. I mention it in almost all the game treads. Maybe it'll be better next year.

Marcus has assisted nearly all of Jaylen's buckets today. We can put to rest freezing out theory I hope.

They'll figure it out because they're both gonna be in Boston a long time.
