Thoughts of our players:
First and foremost: Jaylen Brown
------------
Al Horford: He has been struggling for a month or two, but so glad he put up efficient scoring numbers last night. 8/12 from the field and 1/2 from deep. He was getting good position in the post, and hitting hook shots with either hand, turnarounds, shots in traffic, etc. I think this game will give him the confidence for future games. If we can find him around the perimeter for him to make threes and find him in the post, it gives us so many options on offense. And I hope for the playoffs we see Horford at his best.
AB: been missing this guy so much. If our offense stagnates, we can find him curling off of screens and watch him make that reliable mid range pull up. He knows how to cut backdoor. Has been able to do more off the dribble this year as well. His man to man defense is nasty. Kyrie could do nothing about AB in the last 20 seconds of crunch time.
Marcus Smart: playmaking and defense looking great. Frankly, I'm a little worried about his offense tho. One of the worst in the league at TS% (around 49% I think). Can't really finish at the rim nor can he shoot consistently. He's had long stretches of poor shooting with spurts of decent efficiency. What is this guys ceiling you think? Mike Conley type of player?
Jae Crowder: Dude can shoot, defend and rebound. Don't know why he never drives tho, ha. Is probably our advanced stats king along with Al Horford. Both have stretches of difficulty in scoring this season but both are advanced stats kings. Crowder with a net rating of 7.5 and Al with 5.4.
Lastly: Jaylen Brown!
