Although the Bulls are mediocre, they are the #7 seed in a fairly "Top-Heavy" East.

I guess that could explain the Bulls reluctance to start a rebuild.

That being said, pretend it stays this way and we match up with CHI 1st Round.

What are your early predictions? My guess? Celtics in 6.

Voted in 7. Chi will be a tough out, but this version of the C's will prevail for their first playoff series win!

I kind of hope it's 5 or 6, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it goes 7.

I just hope it's not another first round exit.

Last year we all felt good about our chances in making the 2nd round, but a bad match up meant we got bounced in the 1st round (and Bradley being injured hurt as well).

I view Indiana as a "bad matchup" with playoff PG13 and their size, but I think we could take Chicago (unless Butler and Wade both go rogue on the C's every game).

It will depends on how well C's are performing tonight. It could be a sweep if they show tonight that they can cruise throughout the game and still win.

Cs in 5.

This team, from that whacked out FO down to dysfunctional  the players, is a mess.

Bulls .....tons of individual talent ...... I see very little cohesion , rhyme or reason these pieces should make an actual basketball team

Who ever thought this bulls team up was on crack .

They win games by pure skill and accident

For whatever reason Chicago is always a bad match-up for the C's.

It seems hard to imagine this is the same bulls roster now that it would be in the playoffs. Wouldn't it be kind of insane to see Rondo, Butler and Wade all still there for the playoffs?

How is Chicago still going to be in the playoffs after trading us Butler at the deadline?  :P

Seriously, though, I have a feeling that there's going to be a significant trade for us at the deadline. It won't necessarily be Butler, but I do think things are absolutely primed to make a move with us having many top-value assets, several potential stars/higher end role players in movable contexts, and us playing at a ridiculous level right now and the Cavs in reach with the injuries.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Danny pull a move for something like  Noel at the deadline, especially after his "rim protector" comments today. The ultimate move would be to get something like Noel AND Butler, which is certainly doable. I think the Bulls price on Butler will come significantly down into a reasonable range at the deadline, especially if they lose tonight and move three games under .500.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
