Wyc is not obnoxious like Mark Cuban. They are tied as fans, but I'd rather have a guy like Wyc who knows his limitations and let's Danny do his job.
Stevens has shown that a college coach can succeed in the NBA.
I am against attempting a big trade in which we have to swap out too much of the current roster, future draft picks and the potential within to add Cousins. A move for Butler, to me, would make even less sense. We are already looking solid at the position he plays.
Our Big Three had about a one year window due to KG's injury. Sure, we almost stole a title in 2010, but that was a puncher's chance on fumes. It was some of the best fumes in the business, but I'd like to see Danny go for the long haul strategy.
After our Big Three crumbled, Miami took over. They ended up with about a four year window?
Cleveland has taken over that Big Three formula. Lebron is starting the calcification process. I'd rather sit on the assets and see what kind of run that leads to. Challenging for ten years would be a lot better than three or four.
And Brad is at the right age with the proper skills and temperament to build such a dynasty.

How many guys have improved under Stevens? It seems to be quite the growing number. It is becoming automatic.
Maybe some guys like James Young, RJ and Mickey are simply in over their heads and should go dominate China.
But I witnessed Jordan Crawford and Evan Turner improve here. I see older players like Bradley and Thomas improve under Brad.
Guys like Olynyk and Smart have made leaps under Stevens. None of that was guaranteed to happen.
Rozier has made a quality jump from year one to year two.
If Brown works out, and he seems on schedule, I'd get stingy with trade offers. We are not only getting a top five pick this draft, but we already have Brown (and Smart from one year of tanking), and will probably get another top five pick in 2018. Those are the best contracts especially if players make leaps sooner rather than later. Brad is the perfect coach for such players.
I'd rather go for five titles over ten or fifteen years akin to a Spurs run than "consolidate" assets into a Cousins. This is basically the opposite of the Doc era. I'm not complaining about winning #17, but I personally did not enjoy that run. I think Danny got extremely lucky with the Brooklyn trade. I thought he waited too long. It seemed to get very cynical and I didn't really like Wyc at that point. It was no longer a game and just about win, win win get it done psychology despite everyone saying it would probably only be a three year window. They stretched it out to five and it did get ugly.
Then the Brooklyn trade happened. Year one of Stevens was somehow a fun 25 win season. Then by the second year, we were already back into the playoffs. And Brooklyn fell apart. It's as if Danny made a deal with the devil, but we know he lives clean and it couldn't be that.
