IT blew up in January...but Jae was excellent in his own right.

FG% - 50.3%
3P% - 46.6%
FT% - 89.7%

Over those 14 games, he was sniffing the 50-40-90 club.

He won't keep that up, but if he's reasonably close...wow.

That efficiency plus his contract plus his defense...hope the Celtics think thrice about including him in any trade.

He's been playing very well, but as you said it's unlikely he keeps it up - and even if he did it wouldn't matter that much come playoff time.  He's still not the type of closer or shot creator who could put us over the edge in a Cavs series.

I really like Crowder a lot, but if I could replace him for either Butler or Carmelo (while losing minimal other assets) I would have to do it.

And people thought he would crumble or pout after the Hayward incident. It turns out it was good for him.

Or made no difference whatsoever.

Jae's season long numbers aren't that far off his January numbers, he's been good all year.

I was a little disappointed with what I saw from Crowder in the first couple of months.  Thought he would take the next step this year similar to what we've seen from Bradley this year.

For instance, he had only one 20 point game (in 26 games) through the end of Dec, but he's had 6 (in 14 games) in December alone.

Part of me wonders if the Gordon Hayward "cheering" controversy is what set Crowder off.  He had a big game against Utah (though 3 crappy games following that), but then has been great for the rest of the month.  Bradley being out helps too I'm sure.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
